BlackBerry impresses: 10/10 from an enthusiastic viewer

Finally I’ve gotten around to Blackberry… It’s been on my watchlist for over a year… I’ve been hit by some nasty sniffles, so I’m spending the day at home in bed - and watching a few movies! So far it’s a 10/10 from me 🫐🍿🎬

Rotten Tomatoes’ BlackBerry page is buried under sign-in prompts, email verification, and newsletter pop-ups. The actual movie content is nowhere in sight—just login chaos and marketing overload.

Over 10 new features coming in iOS 27

A smarter Siri 🧠 I’m excited, but also a little skeptical 🧐🤭😝 – let’s hope the many delays and the collaboration with Google end up being a pleasant surprise, and Apple can keep up in ‘the AI game’ 💯⚡️🤖🦾

iOS 27 is set to pack 10+ new features, with Apple aiming to make the iPhone smarter, slicker, and more useful. Expect meaningful upgrades across the system—not just cosmetic tweaks.

John Ternus is rumored to be Apple’s next top boss

Happy 65th birthday, Tim Cook, you old rascal. There are lots of rumors that Apple is internally planning Tim Cook’s departure, and that John will take over... It’s going to be exciting...

Apple’s CEO succession race has a frontrunner: John Ternus, Apple’s 50-year-old hardware chief. With Tim Cook nearing 65 and Jeff Williams stepping aside, insiders increasingly see Ternus as the heir apparent.

Weak sales delay the next generation of iPhone Air

Sorry Apple, but unfortunately I saw it coming... Air should have been a cheap, small iPhone, like when Apple launched the iPod nano - a super-thin mini version of the big iPod at a cheaper price. If the iPhone Air had been a cheap, mini-super-thin version of the iPhone, I think it would have sold much better 🤪🤓

iPhone Air isn’t taking off: weak sales reportedly pushed Apple to delay the next-gen model. The ultra-thin gamble may be losing altitude fast.

Cherri makes Shortcuts much easier to build

I’ve been down with a bit of the flu the past couple of days and started playing around with Cherri – a really awesome project where you can compile code into a signed Shortcut that can be used on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. It suddenly makes building Shortcuts so much easier. Really exciting project. I should look into doing more about Cherri on my website https://ShareShortcuts.com.

Cherri Playground lets you write, import, decompile, and share Apple Shortcuts as Cherri code—all in one slick web editor. Fast help, clipboard links, and iCloud import make shortcut hacking feel effortless.
